Cancellations & refunds
You pay when the work is done, not before. So there is rarely anything to refund — but here is exactly where you stand if you cancel, if I cannot come, or if something I fixed does not stay fixed.
This page covers cancelling a visit, charges that may still apply, and what happens if work is defective. Last updated 31 October 2026.
There is no payment on this website
This site has no checkout, no payment gateway and no card form. I never ask for card or bank details through this website or over WhatsApp, and nobody legitimately acting for me ever will. Payment happens in person when the agreed work is finished.
That means in the ordinary case there is nothing to refund, because you have not paid anything yet. The rest of this page is about the situations where that is not the whole story.
Cancelling a visit
- Before I set off: free, always. Call or message and tell me. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period. I would far rather know than travel to a locked door.
- After I have set off: if a call-out or inspection charge was agreed, it may still apply, because the travel has already happened. You will have been told that amount before I left — see below.
- Once work has started: you pay for the work done and any parts already fitted up to that point, and nothing more. I will tell you where things stand before I stop.
Submitting a form on this website is a request, not a confirmed appointment, so there is nothing to cancel until I have replied and we have agreed a time between us. See the terms of service.
If nobody is there when I arrive
If I arrive at an agreed time and cannot get access, the call-out charge you were told about may apply. I will always try to call first rather than simply leaving and charging you. If something has come up, a message costs you nothing and saves us both the problem.
If I have to cancel
If I cannot make an agreed appointment, I will tell you as soon as I know rather than leave you waiting, and you owe me nothing. If a job overruns and puts your slot at risk, you hear that from me, not from silence. Where an earlier job has become an emergency, I will say so.
Call-out and inspection charges
The ₹150 visit charge applies ONLY if the customer declines the repair after inspection — there is no charge if the customer proceeds with the repair. This charge is told to you before I travel — not on arrival, and not afterwards.
If you were never told a charge before I set off, you do not owe one.
Taxes
GST is not currently applicable, because turnover is below the ₹20 lakh per year threshold requiring registration under Indian GST law.
Parts
- Standard parts that have not been fitted can normally be returned, and you are not charged for them.
- Parts ordered specially for your job — a particular mixer, an unusual size, anything I would not otherwise carry — may not be returnable. If a job needs one, I will tell you that before ordering it, so you can decide with that in mind.
- Parts you supplied yourself are between you and wherever you bought them. My work on them is still my responsibility.
If the work is defective
This is the part that matters most, so it is the plainest.
If a repair I carried out fails because of my work, tell me and I will come back and put it right at no charge. Not a credit, not an argument — I come back and fix it.
If it cannot reasonably be put right, we will agree a fair reduction or refund of what you paid for that work. What I cannot take responsibility for is a different fault elsewhere in the same system, wear on parts you supplied, or work that someone else has altered afterwards.
Any guarantee specific to your job is stated in the quote I send you before the work starts, and that written agreement is what governs it.
How to raise it
Tell me first — it is almost always the fastest route, and most things are a misunderstanding or a ten-minute return visit.
- Phone: +91 78489 89792
- Email: [email protected] — best if you want a written record
- WhatsApp: message me
I aim to reply within two working days and to agree a way forward within seven. Please keep the quote I sent you and, if you can, a photograph of the problem.
Your rights are not affected

If we cannot resolve something between us, you can take it to the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission for Khordha district, or use the National Consumer Helpline. You have two years from the cause of action to bring a complaint, which is why I keep records of completed work for about 18 months — see the privacy notice.
